CASUAL LEAVE

12 days per year

An employee shall be entitled to Casual Leave upto not more than 4 days continuously but holidays and weekly offs prefixing/suffixing or falling within the period of Casual Leave will not be treated as part of Casual Leave

2 days of Casual leave may be availed for half a day on 4 occasions in a year out of which 2 occasions would be in the morning and 2 occasions in the afternoon.
Note: Casual Leave under this category can be availed after applying 24 hours in advance.

When leave is applied by an employee and the same is declined by the Manager, the valid reason for such decline of leave will be informed to the employee so that the employee can take up the matter with higher authorities or with the Union.

UNAVAILED CASUAL LEAVE

Casual leave not availed during a calendar year can be availed later as Sick Leave with full pay.

Casual Leave converted into Sick Leave ( UCL) may be availed without production of medical certificate for 4 days at a time once in a year or two days at a time twice a year (in addition to availing for one day without medical certificate)
